Well after my exams I went for a holiday with my family to Hong Kong. It was pretty fun but I was really angry by how uncouth and bad mannered the tourists from Mainland China behave. Well needless to say, they love to cut queues, push people from behind, talk extremely loud in public, split here and there, are selfish, and many other rude actions.

Anyways back from the trip, I finally can read up on some mangas that I postpone during my exams. It's enjoyable to read an entire series from afternoon till after midnight :)

Earthquakes are scary...

The March super-big earthquake which rocked Japan caused lots of devastation to the people there, esp the tsunami that followed and the nuclear fallout from one of their nuclear plants. It's terrible that something like this happened to the country which I wanna visit most and even more terrible when I heard comments on FB or other forums that this disaster is divine punishment for the atrocities that the Japanese did during the previous world war. I hate these anti-social sentiments that come from people who don't know much of history facts and are not even born when the Japanese commit their crimes.

Anyways I organized a Sky7 Singapore group lunch outing a few weeks ago to help raise funds for the Red Cross, Japan through the buying of bread which sales go primarily to the fund-raising. It was fun to meet the members over lunch at Fish & co at NEX and we chatted the hours away. We even took some photos of us clowning a bit in the mall haha.

My exams are coming soon in less than 40 days and I am having a terrible cold and sore throat right now... not feeling well at all these past few days... To make matters worse I will be having the 1st of my revision classes tomorrow and it will be held in the cold cold lecture hall... I am soooo going to get my cold 'upgraded' to a higher level~

Well it's the last day of February already and my prelims just started today. I haven't got my tempo up for the exams yet so I really need to get started on major revision instead of normal daily revision~ This past month has been pretty fun with the Chinese New Year, pretty sad with Valentine's Day and pretty tiring with my RT in process. March will be even more busy when my RT kicks in full gear while I have revision to do as well. Hopefully I can pass it so I can stop spending time going back to camp for retraining~

Anyways I would like to share a favourite quote of mine from my favourite manga Magister Magi Negi...

It's the year 2011 already and the year of the rabbit is coming soon too.
Am I excited? Not really, after all these years, I start to lose the hype of it. It used to be fun and exciting as a kid but you grow older not so anymore. And after cny is Valentines Day... again. I will try to ask her out on that day, it's better than doing nothing at all ya? Hopefully it works out cos I have never went out with her alone before, only with our friends.

Spring-cleaning is in order this month and my mom already instructed me on what to do. This is gonna be dusty work~ My brother is away in New Zealand for his ns stint so he won't be back to help with the chores. Heck even if he is at home, he always try to skip the chores and push them all to me. He better buy something good from New Zealand as a souvenir~

The year is ending soon, I had a really fun time this month.
My family's Downtown East Chalet holiday was really fun, and I ate a lot :X Basically it's just eat, play sleep over there, not to mention all the late nights of mahjong with my cousins xD I almost got a new personal score in bowling over there - 157! omg that's 3 points from my personal best of 160^^ oh and lemme remember what I ate then~~ hmmm Pizza Hut, MCx2, Sakae Sushi, BBQ Chicken, Seoul Garden, a really fantastic Chinese restaurant-Different Taste =)

After the chalet holiday, the food frenzy is not over yet! There came my grandma's birthday haha! We celebrated at some posh restaurant that serves international buffet in some hotel near Far East Plaza. and was the food good! The salmon sashimi was free-flow! omg i took so many slices sia! Expensive food must take right? =) Then I tried all the rest - roasted turkey, crabs, prawns, duck, dim sum etc~~~ the dessert was the best I think, all the sweet food omg! my mouth was a little swollen from eating too much sugar :x

Well and it's finally Christmas eve now, I am going to my aunt's house to celebrate Christmas this year. Time pass really fast doesn't it? My prelims are comin soon so I gotta buck up for them. Oh and my RT is comin soon too :x

The paint, the dust and the sneeze~

One thing I hate about painting is that I have to move my furnitures around... and the dust came flying about in my room -.- It was tiring after the moving so we had lunch break before starting the painting. Only 2 rooms were painted - my room and the computer room. But why?? My mom bought light-green paint! argh I wanted light yellow... but well after all the painting is done it looks pretty good I guess... except for the compter room haha... I was very tired then so I guess I painted to lightly. The end result was some lighter patches here and there but they were not that noticeable so who cares! =p

As a result of the dustfest, I got myself sneezing all day long on Sunday. And that somehow cause me to get a serious flu... -.-""" I am still "sniffing" now... gotta take my medicine again... bleh that flu pill causes drowsiness so I don't want to eat it...

Btw I had watched the latest Harry Potter movie last Saturday and I felt it's kinda too draggy~ too much walking around in the large landscapes and they really up the romance factor by quite abit lol.

I find it extremely coincidental that it always seem to rain when I am down lol. But I am feeling okay right now, after all the typing and a night of sleep I felt good again =) It's funny how my mood changes so easily haha. I guess I am thinking too much and expecting too much haha... I feel much more optimistic now so I will definitely continue to love her!

okay back to present: I am having a dry sore throat now, if I am not careful I may end up with a fever soon... soooo I am drinking lots and lots of water! I am even using salt water to clear my throat(it helps alot^^)

Truth of an Angel - Part 3

This weekend has been pretty emotional for me - being happy and being sad. My birthday which was last Friday was a quiet one but I was happy because I received many well-wishes from my best buddies. Those well-wishes are more than enough of material presents, I am grateful of them. No one wishes to be alone, more so on their birthdays so I am quietly praying for someone to wish me happy birthday. It was a very present surprise when I received alot of wishes on my Facebook, through sms and msn. That was when I truly felt happy.

The anime festival that was held during the weekend was of mixed feelings, but they tend to bend towards the side of sadness. I was sad that my feelings and placement of being a friend to her are ignored and low. On the 1st day of the event, while browsing through the shops with her, she bought an anime pillow for me as a birthday present. To me I felt sad that the gift wasn't bought beforehand. There are 2 kinds of birthday presents - ones that are bought on the spot and ones that are bought beforehand and prepared to give to the person. There is alot of difference between the 2, the difference being to how you view that person as a friend.

The 2nd day of the event kinda forces me to be happy throughout the event. I was in the stage area and waiting for her to call or sms me about lunch. After some time of waiting, I sms her to confirm where she and her friends are. I was pretty shocked to see her msg me that they are having lunch already and she had forgotten to include me. That totally brought my emotion level to the negative side. I don't mind being forgotten by others but to be forgotten by the girl you are in love with hurts alot... I tried to be happy throughout the event but deep down inside I am hurting badly.

One of my friends told me that she and I are not match to be together while another friend told me to not give up on her. I just don't know what to do now. But for the time being I shall bury my feelings and just concentrate on my studies.

woot kawaii-pizza restaurant has finally served its 1000th customer and is serving more pizzas to regular and new customrs! On behalf of the staff, I sincerly thank you all for the support.

It's been a week now after my school starts, and I am glad I have 2 good lecturers teaching the new modules this year. Haven't beenfeelin well lately, not sure whether it's too much air-con exposure or not but I am feeling 'fluish' and sick at random times of the day... old liao old liao~~

oh and the Fall animes start this week! I will be looking forward to watching them^^

Well after such a long long break, my 3rd school year finally begins tommorrow. I will be having classes on Tuesdays morning, Wednesdays morning and afternoon and Fridays late afternoon. But I will be in school from morning to evening for these 3 days to revise in the library so you can come 'disturb' me if you guys are free =p

Anyways I am confused at why the school wated to imprement an all thursdays revision... makes my timetable so messy messy de, have to check it daily now I guess~ 4 modules to tke this year, 2 repeated 2 new, cannot fail again le~~

oh ya the Animefest Asia 2010 website is up! The seiyuu for Kanade aka Tenshi will be there! And ultra-hot Jap girl band Scandal! And Cosplayer Kaname! And the new butler cafe! And the maid cafe will have a schoolgirl theme! omg so many events and things! But But But... as I predicted, the pricing of tickets are raised again compared to last year's... they are smart in their marketing this time -.-

okay so if anyone wants to join me at this year's afa, sms me or call me or msn me. Btw the event is on the 13th and 14th of November(that's like the next day after my birthday xD) which is Saturday and Sunday, try and make yourself free to come!

Summerfest & Results

Where's my takoyakis??!! That's the 1st question I ask myself last Saturday evening when I arrived at the Japanese Primary School. And the yukatas were rent out too! nooo~ there are quite a number of game booths there like ring toss, memory game, can hiting etc and a few pay-per-play games like shooting gallery and balloon fetching. Holding my custom designed "Uchiha" fan, I was fanning away the heat like most of the people around.

A tip that I learnt from my 1st visit is that don't buy the expensive meals they provide, instead go for cheaper snacks to fill you up. Reason? The curry don that me and Darrell bought has pretty little ingredients at $5 a pack. Darrell was disappointed with his as his pack only has a miserable 1 potato piece xD Afterwards he also bought a ramen that cost $9 o_o. Turns out that the soup was pretty salty and the meal overall was not very good.

Walk around the festival with Darrell and his friends. Took part in some games ourselves. Ha! Beat Darrell in the shooting gallery by striking my H20 drink prize while he bobo shooter =p The main event was the main stage where there were stage performances and singing of songs. The Japanese people there were a real lively bunch, it's easy to identify them from Singaporeans as aroun the main stage most of the people dancing to the bet were Japanese while the ones who stand around doing nothing but see are us Singaporeans lol. Bought a few pretty souveniers and left around 9pm to beat the crowd and taking the shuttle bus back to Expo =)

Hmmm I was pretty surprised by my results that were released yesterday. Stupid econs got in my way again while I was in disbelief about my stats. oh well can't emo the whole day about it, gotta keep moving forward. I just have to do much better the next 2 years and fight for it. Haiz... I really don't wanna do another year cos I wanna graduate with my current year friends... well I hope it will be a blessing in disguise as now I will be able to split up my modules 4-3 per year. But it's a good thing I have my buddy Ritchie to accompany me for another 2 years as he started out a year late =)

Alrighty then! Fight on and don't give up! Yeah!

Movie movie!! it's my 3rd movie in 3 months and this time it's Liar Game: Final Stage! I haven't watch the series or read the manga before but i know roughly what's the story' about. Just LIE!! hahahaha! i have never seen a show that has more lies than the spikes on the esplanade xD

Tickets were sold out th night before so we have to settle to watch it in tampinese. Alvin, Darrell and Ernest and me had lunch at aijisan ramen before the movie - had to rush through our meals cos movie starting liao~ I pretty much enjoyed the show, alvin didnt though cos he abit sian of the overused methods of filmmaking in japanese movies. I can tell that the mkng of the show is pretty low in production cost. Why? That's because 90% of the entire show is cast in a big room known as the "Garden of Eden"! The show is mainly a blast for fangirls who idolise the cool male characters of the movie, I heard a bunch of them behind me whenever the main cast hugs or a cool character walks in lol! oh and the main female cast is really really honest to the max till it's stupid! but it's a good thing that her stupid honesty got the best of the other competitors in the game, woot!

This week has gone by pretty quickly, pretty bored at home(when your fav mangas get licenced it's not much fun these days...) me went out with ritchie to buy an accessory for the upcoming natsu matsuri this coming saturday. omg i trip and almost fell whn buying lunch at a chinatown food centre... luckily i still maintained balance but my wanton mee soup fell on the floor and some of it spill to a nearby hiking bag... -.- the owner wasn't there so i brisk away back to our table... sorry sorry to whoever that person is! luckily it's not some businessman suitcase~ after that we went to ck tang to look up on some things. WOW i cant believe the many complete series of animes sold there! Bamboo Blade, Initial D, Prince of Tennis, Baka to Test, Cardcaptor Sakura and many many more! There are also alot of j and k dramas availiable there! so many! me bought 2 series - Prince of Tennis OVA Nationals and Initial D full 4 seasons xD Both of them contain OST so it's really worth the price of $29 each^^

On Tuesday and Wednesday I spent the afternoon accompaning ernest in the sim library while he do his project report on his lapppy. In the meantime i spent my time revising on my japanese classes. nothing like a cool and quiet environment to study(although I did tap into my music to keep me awake xD)~ The japanese food stall auntie still remembers me and ask where i have been this whole time haha! told her about my long break and she's surprised it's so so long lol!

alright i guess the upcoming natsu matsuri will be the last event of my break, do hope it doesn't rain then so that i can have lots of fun eating and soaking in the festival mood =)

Last Sunday, after my weekly Jap class, me ern and darrell went to darrell's fav maidoooo cafe to celebrate ern's birthday^^ Instead of having our lunch on the ground floor, we had it on the 2nd floor as the ground floor was having renovations~ me ordered the same meal i ate previously - Zetai Katsu!(imagine pork cutlet rice xD) on the same day another group was also celebrating their friend's birthday and they bought their own cake too! when darrell secretly ask the maid to serve ernest's a slice of cake, ern thought we actually "kope" the other group's cake hahaha!

Picture taking here and there, we also request ern have his photo taken with the maid who is posed to feed him lolol. it's quite fun there, keep feeding each other and me drawing on their guest book(i drew my army platoon mates in potato sketch xD) after lunch we went over to simlim square to accompany ern to fix his lappy. I haven been there for awhile, the place still looks pretty crowded~

alright Movietime! alvin joined us for our movietime at plaza s'pore, and what movie did we watched? INCEPTION OF COS!! what a damm good movie!! I can easily place it in my top 5 best movies i have seen, the movie really lets you think alot and there's action evreywhere. CG is really good and i really luv how each dream is stacked on top of one another =) 5 stars out of 5 stars!!

The rest of the gang - ah hui, ah ye and beanie joined us for dinner at a jap restaurant at cathay. the don i had last time wasn't really nice so i ordered a set meal plus takoyaki(fav fav!!) plus 1 salmon sushi(not cold de so meaning not very fresh -.-) plus barley drink(which turns into lemon barley halfway when i self-improvise xD). it's always nice to see old buddies again and chat about our daily lives haha~

Back to the present~~~ woot k-on's 2nd ending "No, Thank you!" full version is finally out! woot woot! and Highschool of the Dead's 5th episode is the best one so far! i luv it when the producer decides to create some new scenes for the anime instead of blindly sticking to the manga. nyaaa!! and my jap class is getting harder and harder! nyaaa nyaaa need to revise more!

It's a bit unreal the next time i log onto my com and click onemanga link and nothing is there... onemanga is the 1st manga website i visit to read my manga titles so it's really sad to see it close down... the final message posted by the creator of onemanga website is pretty sad when i read it. i can somehow feel that he don't wanna give up his work so soon...

I just hope that I still have places to go to when I wanna read and not all sites close just because of some licensing issues... well all good things must come to an end and onemanga is one of the good things that i will bid farewell to...

nyaaa nyaaa~~ finally reformated my pc again and i can finally install some design programs in it^^ after a long time in black and blue, i decided to go with yellow and orange for a fresh new change! Afterall my fengshui lucky colour and my fav colour is yellow so why not dye my bloggy yellow too? =p

After the new coat of paint, my bloggy doesn't look so gloomy anymore =)

I felt that this year there are alot more female cosplayers who are exposing more skin in their cosplays. Seeking more attention? Maybe but the guys at the event aren't complaining lol.

And there are alot more army cosplays there too! Even saw a SAF recruit there! My friend wanted to shout at him "You want to get charged ah?!" hahaha!

After my 5-days long ICT, there comes the long-awaited Cosfest! Held at Downtown East, I decided to cosplay a not very popular manga character. I am so glad a few people managed to regonise me, most likely due to my custom-made nose bleed lol! Both days were of cloudy weather and it even rained on Saturday in the evening. Luckily the rain didnt dampen the moods of the people there haha.

Me went with my friends Darrell and Ritchie and my bro came along too wth his army buddies. I also met up with my cousin Nicky and her freinds at the event lol, she was snapping away at the cosplayers, esp the final fantasy 13 cast =p Agnes couldnt make it both days so I passed to her a pair of head accessories I made before the event for her and her friend to wear to the Cosfest. The accessories are soo cute haha! Check out "The World God only Knows manga", the female demons there wearing the skull headgears are the ones lol! aiya forgotten to take pics of her wearing it!! hahaha next time next time hehe^^

booooooo my ICT starts today and it's a 5 day 4 night "holiday" at Clementi Camp(Soooooo close to my house^^)... zzz sian sian Sian!! i want to use the weekdays to work on cosplay accessories de then now need to rush abit zzz. Seriously i hope the training is enjoyable though i think it will be pretty boring with plenty of waiting - for transport, for queuing for food, for speaker to arrive etc etc...

Though i have something to look forward to, Cosfest!!! and this time i will be cosplaying woot! I have already DIY my eye patch by converting it from a mouth mask o_o, it turned out pretty well, just need a little touch-up hehehe. Oh ya one thing i pretty disappointed is that the rental store for the cosplay clothes really make the prices sooo damm exxxx. okay rental fee is $45 for my black school uniform but huh if need to reserve then need to pay half the rental costs for reserve. which means 45+22 dollars for reserving and wearing it(for 3 days only then need to return liao) rush rush rush~~ aiyo so ex, end up i take a gamble - if on the cosfest saturday i go to the store and the costume is taken then i will rely on ritchie to provide me a fake pretty similiar(i think) normal blazer hahaha.

This years Cosfest is on the 3rd and 4th of June 12pm to 8pm so come on down to Downtown East to join in the fun^^. There are lots of cosplayers there and i have a feeling some will cosplay some of my fav characters this season =) wooot wooot i can't wait! now just to get over with this ICT~~

Preparations for reservist & cosfest

Sooo mafan, have to take out the junk out from the store~ sian sian I think I missing some stuff already... omg my dog tag missing liao... -.- okay need to search abit... they can't seriously ask us to bring all 10 pack items rite? not going for field camp or roadmarch still need all the stuff, what for? and the sian thing about this reservist is that it ends the day before the cosfest... haiz lidat make me have to rush to get the clothes from the store either that day or the cosfest day itself~

This year's cosfest me decided to cosplay this character! He is Sanada Utsuru from the manga Lock On! and he is a pro photographer who always wear a high school uniform to take photos, giving him the nickname "Black uniform cameraman". He always gets nose bleeds when photographing too much and has an eye patch to cover his right "Shutter" eye, his right eye being able to perform super-human abilities like cross-referencing accurately between objects, being able to know the 3 sizes of anyone, seeing things in slow motion etc etc.

So to be able to cosplay him, I would need a highschool jap uniform, an eye patch, some red dye, tissue paper to stuff my "bleeding" nose, a camera and maybe a wig if really need~ Anyways I guess this year only me and ritchie will be cosplaying as the rental costs are pretty high -.-" $50 for 3 days! well I just wanna try once cosplay so I guess it's okay. Should be pretty fun haha!

oh ya if anyone wants to cosplay too, tell me cos me going to try booking the rental clothes next week.

Truth of an angel - Chapter 2

The angel awakes for a brief moment...

After a pretty long pep talk with a good friend of mine, I have decided that I shall confess to her after I get to know her much better and that if she has some interest in me. Relationships do not work one way, if only one likes the other it won't work at all. I will try to ask her out for lunch or dinner once in a while to chat face to face, chats always seem more alive this way. I guess this is the best way, maybe I should start a relationship only after I graduate and have a job. But there is always a possibility that she may get attached to another person, would that be okay for me? I try not to think of it too much, it hurts.

I finally understood why a few of my friends got angry with me in the past over some trival little things. It's because I am Nice and Serious. When I made friends with everyone, I gave an impression that I am nice to everyone. So when I said something that doesn't suit my personality like jokingly scolding someone, they may misunderstood me and get mad with me. I have to admit I am the complete opposite of Darrell, one who jokes arounds, makes fun of people, comment on people but wouldn't get anyone mad at him. Why? Because he's un-serious. But he told me that it can be a double-edge sword as people may tend to not take your words seriously. So does that mean that I should be less serious? Maybe I should just be myself and not worry too much. I should be liked and understood for who I am, not who I pretend to be.

Truth of an angel - Chapter 1

Hello everyone, I will be creating a thread called "Truth of an angel". From time to time I will be writing my feelings, my thoughts and my emotions in this thread. I am writing because it's hard to keep everything to yourself and not let it out, I am already at my limit already... Well I will be writing quite alot and with good English so if you can read it all I give my thanks :)

First things first, I really love her. Ever since last November till today, my feelings for her have never changed and I keep thinking of her everyday. I just don't know why but I feel that my feelings are real and true. I have communicate with her on MSN messenger countless times, talking about school stuff, manga stuff, anime stuff, random stuff and about her life and her past. The more I get to know her, the more feelings I develop for her. I know that MSN is only a text communication but I can really feel her excitement or laughter through her words when she recall funny anime moments with me. I really enjoy every single time I spoke to her on MSN and I wished that every conversation could last as long as it could. I saved every one of our chats in a folder as memories that I may forget one day. These chats may not seem much to her but to me it means a whole lot. I am pretty positive that she knows I like her but she does not want to get into a relationship with anyone for the time being. I am glad that we can still talk as good friends because I don't want to lose a good friend due to relationships.

I have read alot of mangas and people's stories about one-sided love. Quite alot of people around the world do not confess to the love of their lives till it is too late. A quote from somewhere "Better to have love and lost, than to have not love at all". Well, I am going to say it. This coming Cosfest I will be confessing to her and I will ask her out for a date. I am not saying to be boyfriend/girlfriend but to get to know her better as a girl not as a friend. I have heard guys and girls not being able to be friends once they confess and fail. But... I have to try, if not I will regret it for the rest of my life. If my confession fails, I will not give up. Sure I will definitely be depressed of course but that is all part of growing up. Rejections are part of our daily lives and we have to know how to get over them. If I give up after one try, I will try again later, and again later if I fail. I don't care if she hates me and such, because she's my first love afterall. I treasure my friendship with her and I pray that even if our feelings are not mutual, we could still be good friends who love chatting with each other.

"Nice guys always finish last" - this quote has been overused so many times that I don't even know what's the defination of a nice guy. True, nice guys Almost always finish last. Since from secondary school and my army days, I have experience degrees of bullying ranging from minor ones such as name calling and drastic ones such as force-waking me at 2am after a tired whole day. I know how bullying spreads, if one is bullied, he or she seeks to find a weaker person to bully to ease his/her own pain. But in reality, it hurts more. Why? Because I am a bullied and a bully. After being bullied by a few of my bunk mates, I literally became one myself on the last night of my life in Tekong. One of my good friend in my bunk is also the subject to much bullying from the other bullies and he was taking an early leave off the island because of medical reasons. As a result, he wasn't in the bunk for some period of time. The bullies in my bunk began to move his locker and faced it to the back. Me, feeling an urge to do something, began drawing on his locker using camo cream. Our platoon sergeant soon came and asked us to erase that away and reverse back the cupboard. The bullies, feeling no damage was done dared me to pour camo cream into his boots. And you know what? I actually did what I was told. Not just because they dared me to but that I have a great urge to inflict some damage on other people. On my passing-out-day, I felt nothing, no sense of regret at all. But as time pass, I regret it. I felt like I betrayed my best friend in BMT, one who played with me chess, one who chats with me, one who actually have no ill-feelings towards me, a REAL friend! And I betrayed him.

I met him again in SIM during my OTIA class and we really chat up a storm. From chatting about anime to about relationships, we chat when we had lunch at Megabites and during breaks and during lessons. He still doesn't know about what I did in Tekong and sometimes when I meet up with him, somewhere in my heart I felt terrible. I have decided to tell him about it when we meet up tommorrow and I will ask for his forgiveness after all this time. Sure it may be just camo cream in the boots but it was done by a friend to a friend. From then on I never ever did anything that will betray my friends' trust in me and if I did get bullied even if I am being nice, so be it. I will stick to my 'nice guy' policy and continue to be nice to everyone, even to people who look down on me and talk bad about me. But I will only show my true self and smile to my good and real friends, a small majority of friends that I made over the years.

Well I have wrote pretty much what's in my heart right now, and it felt a whole lot better. As I typed some of the sentences I got pretty emotional and cried abit. It's not a bad thing for guys to cry, we are still creatures with feelings which could get hurt. Just that if there is a need to cry, do it when nobody is around. Luckily my parents were out fetching my brother to camp to book in. If you enjoyed reading this wall of text, I thank you. Thanks for being able to understand my feelings and share abit of my emotions.

My exams are over and it's the beginning of a long long break from the start of June till mid-Sept... 3 1/2 months!!! luckily i have some activities planned out to keep me occupied, if not i will really rot at home~~ okie after a long hiatus, time to bake a big pizza =p

I had my NS reservist briefing day on the 1st this month and WOW sooo many familiar faces I see at Clementi camp! After all the grouping and such, I was lucky that I am teamed with at least one of my platoon mates, and he is none other than Darrell!! omg same mate in Maju, in SIM and now in reservist too =) woot woot! hahaha imagine all the crap we can talk over the next 10 years =p

I finally had a lunch/dinner small gathering of my sec school buddies Alvin, Faiming, Junyan and Zizhao after like... hmmm 7 years!!! omg it's been way too long! So glad to see them again and we chat up a storm! After lunch we head to the Marina Bay Sands to sightsee abit and woah it's such a longwalk~~ So sunny and hot, made me sweat alot~~ hey it rythmes! the resort wasnt really what I call fantastic. I dislike the casino area, all the cigarette smoke at the place makes me wanna cough~~ soooo smokey... The shopping mall has quite a few shops opened but it's not for commoners like us to go in and buy something lol. Went to visit the hotel area and was pretty impressed by the huge interior and decor of the building. AND they have SIX receptionists at one reception!!! isnt that a waste of manpower?

Went back to Marina Square after all the sightsee, the Helix bridge didnt give much sun-cover... all the costs and that's what you get, no shelter from sun and rain, 2 of s'pore's most frequent weathers~ well at least it loooks nice, esp at night i think... We had a round of pool b4 our dinner at Yakisuki, a damm nice place for bbq food and steamboat AND freeeeflow of salmon sashimi^^ The price is reasonable too hehe.

The next day, which is Sunday me went out with my poly buddies ah Mew and Junxiong for some intense bowling action and card game fightout!! that day I dunno what happened... how did i bowled soooo pooorr~~ argh a bit piss off of myself cos i wanna try beating mewmew's super high score xD woah he that day damm on-form~~ and my lolipop boost didnt work at all... maybe wrong favour... should stick to orange~~

After the bowling match, we head down to the 1st floor of Chervons to Hans cafe and ate some chicken pie while to engage in a brutal battle of card games lol. And it really was very intense as me and mewmew kept saboing each other! hahaha i like to disturb my opponents' game and make them lose~~ i am soo evil~~wahahaha! but it's too bad that in the end i lost hahaha... what goes around comes around, that's what everyone says. We played the Monopoly card game next and omg how much fun it was! we really laughed alot as we snatched prperties from one another, counter here and there! lol junxiong was hilarious in the game hahaha!

Oh and me going out again this comin Sunday, going to meet Agnes, Darrell and Vannessa over lunch at a woahhh maid cafe o_O the place was intro by darrell when he and his gaia friends patronised the place last sunday. boy oh boy did darrell get teased there =p i wonder if we will do the same thing to him this sunday too? heh heh heh heh heh~~

Cosfest is comin soon, the first weekend of next month. I have been trying to jio ppl to join me in cosplaying, yes yes! i will be cosplaying for the 1st time in my life, so excited~~ the person i am going to cosplay is the main character from the manga Lock-on, a pro photographer who always wears a high-school uniform and wears a eye-patch covering his right eye. He often gets nose bleeds when he overuse his eye power lol! sooo i am going to check out some stores in Chinatown with my uni buddy Richie and get some info on the rental rates there haha.

Alright! my most vexing paper(econs) is finally over!! i think i should be able to pass it(pls let it pass!! if not next year last chance le and amos would definitely make the paper harder than this year...). Now the last 2 papers are organisational theory and social pyschology, both essay type papers, well they need a lot of reading so i have been reading and reading for quite awhile~~

I really can't wait for exams to end! i have so many events or things to do lol!

Did anyone got hit by an April fool's joke? hope not hehehe~
Some forum members at mangafox were making some new threads about Naruto & Bleach ending lol, hahaha that's too obvious!

Last Friday and Sunday I had my accounting lessons, Good Friday & Easter Sunday sia! I didnt know public holiday the school still open, maybe Good Friday not a very big holiday event haha~ Had my lessons with Adrian and Marcia, both of them brought their own lunch sandwiches! end up i eat some of their share hehehe... The lecturer is good in his teaching however the lessons are abit dry, dry until i kept falling asleep during the 2nd half of the lecture =p

After the lesson on Sunday, me went to Plaza s'pore to meet up with Alvin and Ern for a movie - KIDNAPPER!!! wahhahaha that movie cracks me up even though it's not suppose to, maybe coz i sitting next to ern so we kept exchanging comments about the movie, making funny comments during serious or sad moments~ somehow both of our giggling seem to bother some girls sitting next to alvin who were crying during a scene, my apologies!!! maybe the movie just doesnt get me in the right mood to cry etc, story abit too unrealistic plus the bad guy seems to be a walking zombie! cannot die de!! wth!! and the kidnapped boy just has too much blood to donate -.-""
After the movie, we had KFC for dinner, woot^^ it's beeen so long since i ate my fav 2 piece meal, colesaw change to cheese fries, 1 original 1 crisy =p

It's been revision after revision in school, been meeting my buddies Ritchie and Ern for study sessions in the sim library~ Just sooo tired after every revision, esp today... had a terrible cold which got me during the last 2 hrs of revision, making my head all fuzzy fuzzy~~ argh i hate studying during colds!!

Anime for the winter season has finally ended, Durarara wrapped up nicely, Nodame too was light-hearted all the way till the end, luv all the coupling =) sooo now starts the spring anime season! well not many anime is on my to-watch-list, guess only 1 i had an eye on - Kaichou wa Maid-sama!! woah misaki is much cuter in the anime version^^ i cant wait when misa starts calling usui 'alien' after he jumps off the roof later in the anime~

Yawnz~~~~~Another RT today morning and i almost overslept it~ this is bad my insomnia is getting worse and worse... cant sleep at night and when finally managed to sleep an hour later cant wake up at all... i feel like a zombie these few days...

The sky has been merciful these past few days by cooling the scorching heat with cool cool rain^^ i haven't really study much these few days... somehow this is a bad habit of mine of always revising late... zzz this is really bad, 6 modules to cover b4 the 1st paper start on may 5th...

haiz... i really now start to panic quite abit le... how i wish i can get back my studying mode during my primary school days... just study study study, heck i dun even have much fun during those years... it may be kinda of no life but it may be the best way for me to absorb information...

I really don't want to mess up this sem's exams, otherwise I will have to repeat another year and not be able to graduate with my uni friends... this is so stressful...

Reunion dinner

I had my reunion dinner the past Saturday at my house, had the same usual food like previous years - roasted duck, big prawns, braised chicken, abalone^^ etc. My aunt gave me a tiger soft toy for the upcoming tiger year =) The head damm big in comparison with its body haha! But it's cute hehe^^

Had my RT today morning again, there was a trial test of the 2.4 conducted. Man after the 1st 800m I was already panting... walk jog the next 800m and ran the last 800m... ended up my timing about 16:30mins... rats this is horrible... just 1 year ago I could run 12:10mins...

After RT, I met up with Ban Hong and Jun Hui from my sec school days. wow jun hui didn't change very much except that he is much taller!(maybe it's because I am short T_T). We had lunch at Clementi town food centre before riding a bus to Queensway shopping centre to shop ^^. Seriously ah today's weather is really reall hot!! The moment I was not in an air-con environment I could feel the scorching heat from the sun. I bought a new sling bag to replace my current sling bag which I got for free from a marathon I ran last year with my army buds. After discount the price is 71 from 89 dollars. Me bargained for $70 haha!(sounds nicer with tens hehe) After that we headed over to Achorpoint to shop abit. Ban Hong wanted to buy a white pair of branded shoes to wear but huh... his feet is too big! Actually it's more like his heel part the feet area abit too broad that's why hard to fit the feet inside the shoe. Ended up not being able to find a pair he could wear...

Tomorrow's another new week, gonna head to the library after my OTIA lesson to mug till 6pm+ on my OTIA and Stats 1. Prelims are coming, gotta do well for them haha!

Hougang outing hehe

Yesterday me, Ern, Alvin, KL and Darrell went to Darrell's neighbourhood to have some fun shooting hoops and boardgames at his new house^^ Had lunch at home before meeting ern and kl at Clementi station to go together to Hougang. It's kinda funny that Darrell has moved house from Hougang to Hougang haha!

Met up with alvin and darrell there and made our way to the very deserted basketball court. woah the place reminded me of vast empty areas like the ones in Kungfu Hustle and the Matrix lol! cool no one else there so we have the whole place to ourselves =) alvin was the best at static shooting, woah he scored like no tommorrow! darrell almost made it past 1 round b4 he messed up his throw and had to restart all over again hahaha!! after that we had mini-matches where me, ern and darrell teamed up against alvin and kl, but huh cmi sia -_- alvin totally thrashed us lol... after that we made a mini-video clip of us goofing around which was taken by alvin's hp, hmm dunno whether he uploaded yet ornot to fb?

After a tiring but fun session of basketball, we headed over to darrell's house. A pretty cozy house i would say and plenty of new furniture! woah the TV is pretty large haha! we played darrell's new boardgames which he bought a week ago when he, me and alvin went out to watch the movie Tooth Fairy last Sunday. Really really fun!! hahaha me showed my power why i self-claim myself yu-gi-oh(king of games =p) from the anime series lol! we played a ugly ugly matching game 1st, followed by a cookie cookie matching and dice game then finally a tactical clever boardgame which involves saboing and lots of reverse-psychology! hahahaha darrell ended up as the biggest loser even though he was the game owner! teehee~~ alvin's comeback was sweet, a silent win which surprised everyone =)

We went to a nearby coffeeshop at the towncentre area to have our dinner. Western was the food we had that dinner, me ordered mixed grill - a conbination of grilled beef, pork, lamb and chicken meat with black pepper sause, with a baked potato, baked beans and a pocket egg on top^^ Suuggooii!! =)

Arcade arcade!! using kl's vip card, we headed over to Timezone arcade to have some fun! darrell was busy throwing balls to hoops again (maybe he wanna practice more to be better than alvin xD), then me had a continuous rally of table hockey with the guys =p it's really enjoyable, sweat alot too! i was seriously bent on winning everyone coz i dun like losing at games lol. it's not bad, lost 2 of of 7 games i think.

Hougang is pretty happening compared to Clementi, lots of events held there - saw some folk-dancing and a mega pasar malam selling cheap wares to tasty food^^ (the thai sharkfin soup kl bought for $2 was good!) It was a tiring day but a very fun day at that coz having fun with good buddies makes every little activity(like going to the supermarket to buy drinks lol) interesting and enjoyable =)

Remedial Training begins! xD

Last Sunday, my remedial training started and I have to go to Maju camp for my twice-a-week lessons on Sunday and Tuesday. I had to wake up pretty early on Sunday as the training starts @ 8am. Woke up @ 6:45am and had a light breakfast. Maju camp changed quite abit since I last went there for my IPPT, all the outer fences have been replaced with sturdier ones, the guardroom and front area totally changed le, and huh the eating area now under renovation somemore! wah really alot of changes!

okay after waiting a damm long time until 8:50am, the physical training instructor (PTI) came and brief us everything about the RT etc. After a long briefing of 40mins, he ask us to run 1 km around the camp. okay today's session end. huh??? so fast?? wah i kena shocked, it's supposed to be from 8am till 12noon haha but ended b4 10am xD. okay no complains from me here haha!

2nd RT day which is today evening, I had a light snack b4 making my way there on foot (save transport fee plus sweat abit b4 RT haha!) wow lots more people today, the cars jammed the entrance of the camp, luckily I live nearby V^_^V

okay today's training was pretty tiring, maybe my body not used to the training, need to condition abit. Haiz I remember the days when running 5km was no kick and climbing mountains in Taiwan was fun xD. Now I become so unfit liao... damm sad. Duck walk, chin-ups, shuttle runs were some of the exercises for today, but I was most tired by the interval run whereby I have to run 4 rounds of 400m, run 1 round under 2mins rest 2mins run another round. I seriously out of breath after the 3rd round, end up walking the last round haha...

Oh ya I met my secondary school friend Ban Hong while training! haha he still looks about the same as last time ah! he then commented I haven changed at all! hmm that's good isnt it? If can look young why not look young? It's good to be young as much as you can as if you act old, age will catch up with you faster xD

Quite tired after the RT, drank lots of water when I got home and I had a pretty light dinner coz I no appetite to eat (too full of water!) okie tmr still have lessons @ 12noon, 7 hours of sleep begins @12midnight^^.

Nightmare woke me up

I had a terrible nightmare on Monday night, dreamt that I went to the exams without studying lol... If I rmb correctly, I was taking maths 1 that day and the hall seemed to be my secondary school hall haha! Strange sia lol. Then before that dream I somehow went to E-hub at Pasir Ris there dunno for what. Funny thing is I saw Agnes and her friends doing some charity work, I think is for the Hatti earthquake de. Seriously what you see during the day may come up in dreams as camo appearances lol! I had many dreams b4 that are just as weird, like getting chased by robocop, jumping down from my block to actually fly... actually more than jumping very high la haha, having to fight in a war... omg that alot of my friends made camo appearances lol!

Anyways the nightmare from Monday's sleep made me start to seriously start revising for my modules le. I can't afford to repeat another year! >_<

Omg it is hilarious! The mangaka drew Midori really really cute and the story just makes you wanna find out how they will get back to their original self! The manga is filled with interesting and funny characters who can make you laugh till you drop^^. There are some tear-jerking scenes in the story, esp between Seiji and Midori - the last few chapters made me tear abit coz the pages are very emotional. This manga was introduced to me by Darrell but I didnt read it till now. There is also an anime version of the manga which I haven watch yet, should be good though =)

Okay back to myself, today I was late for my OTIA lesson because all the buses are FULL!!! wth I missed 8 buses sia! - 4 x Bus 184, 2 x Bus 154, 1 x Bus 74, 1 x Bus 52... All the buses comin from Clementi central are full... so end up have to wait for the only bus which does not pass by central - Bus 151... But huh I waited for like 25mins then the bus came... zzz...

Had a test today but I wasn't really prepared for it, hopefully could pass it. Got my previous test and assignment back, the results were better than I expected haha.

No lessons for me on Tuesday, soo time to run abit and slim down lol^^

Yesterday's OTIA lesson with Mr Goh is one of his most funniest yet lol! omg using animals, angels etc to illustrate the relationships in organisation sia haha!

Last Sunday me went bowling with mew-mew and junx but junx couldnt make it coz of extended lesson... (wah extended lesson on a sunday sux). so end up only us two lol... luckliy ah mew brought some entertainment in the form of a card game^^. The game is something like world of warcraft kind de, fight monsters, missions, recruit allies etc, it's a really interesting and cool game!! Good thing mew explained the rules well so I picked the game up very fast xD. hahaha!! I gave mew alot of trouble with my all-girls team =p (kept on stealing his cards and disabling his characters hehe). In the end both of us lost... lol! The game has some sort of time limit to complete missions and we kept hindering each other haha!

After the card game(which we played for more than 2hrs lol), we went on to bowl 3 games each. Haiz i dun know what happened but my score sux!! The 1st game still not bad, but huh the remaining 2 games cmi... maybe I should cut my hair and fingernails liao lol... We went to IMM to shop abit and have our dinner. We went to Baystreet 21, a Western-Indo food restaurant which I often patronise with my parents during the weekends. The food was good and cheap as usual, I ordered a set meal - toasted bread & butter, cream soup, fish&chips, dessert(pandan cake) and hot tea, all for just $14.90!^^

Come join us next time Junx!!! I think I bowl better when there are more competitors =p

It's 2010 already! omg just 4 more months till my exams in May! I haven blog for awhile because of my month long assignment but it is finally completed today^^ yay! anyways i won't be blogging as often as my revision period starts now, can't expect me to fail again and take another year rite?

In other news i bought a ps3 from my friend for a low price, woot =) now i can look forward to final fantasy 13 this year!

Do you feel the Christmas spirit in the air? For me nope I think I rot at home too long le never visit city area lol. This comin Christmas eve I will be attending a Christmas event(songs and play) at Suntec which I am invited by Ritchie haha! Thanks it's been awhile since I last went for events such as these ^^.

On the day itself I will be spending it with my family and relatives at my aunt's house at Lakeside. yay cash presents!^^ hehehehe!

Alright my assignment is almost at the halfway mark, onward and upward!

Shangri-la sweetness~

Yesterday was my grandma's birthday and my family celebrated it at a lunch buffet at Shangri-la hotel's The Line restaurant. wow the moment I stepped in I was awed by the beauty and elegance of the hotel(the christmas deco made it even prettier^^)

Okay let's talk about the food haha! I wasn't disappointed by the quality of the food, there are soo many varieties! Chinese, Indian, Malay, European, Jap etc hahaha. Me went for chinese food 1st - siew mai, char siao bao, prawn dumplings etc, then Índian food roti prata! boy was that fattening xD Next I chiong pizza slices and turkey bacon woo^^ Oh and after that I went for the most ex ones, salmon Sashimi!! waa shiok sia! Seafood was next and I took some prawns and crab pieces on my plate, I dun wanna touch the raw oysters - later I sick vomit all the food out haha!

Lastly was the desserts!! I think most of my family members were chionging the sweeties at the shelves lol. I ate some cheese cake(delicious but filling haha), eclairs, some cups with ultra concentrated chocalate in it(I had to drink water along with it, toooo sweet!) some other sweet stuffs and ice-cream!(chocalate and coconut^^) We ended the buffet with some nice coffee or tea(ahhh some nice hot tea is great after a big nice meal hehe)

Oh and anyways one third of my assignment is done, two thirds more to go! =)

I am soo exhausted~ every night was mahjong from 10pm till 3am in the morning and some mornings I have to wake up at 6am to attend classes at SIM... diao... Pasir Ris too far liao sia... Well anyways I pretty much enjoy the holiday, eat and eat and eat^^ - Pizza Hut(8 slices of pizza and 7 drumlets), Sakae Sushi(forgot how many plates liao lol), New York New York(Some cheese covered chicken chop with fries, a big cup of root beer float and being a cleanup for my cousin's and aunt's meal haha), Seoul Garden(add fish add fish!) and lots of junk food for supper =p

Wild wild wet was fun as usual but bad weather cut short the time spent there, boo to the storm clouds! My bowling game has improved alot since the last time I bowled, now I can really bowl accurate straight balls most of the time^^ My cousin is still trying to master his spin ball(so many balls clearing the drain lol) while my younger cousin has really upped her game! omg she scored 140 once in a game!

The chalet unit that I stayed in was in pretty bad condition when compared with other units - the front door light was missing a half, the doorbell wasn't working, the door itself had patches of wood patched on it, indicating it was broken, the kitchen bathroom toilet's flush wasn't working well, the room I was sleeping in has a weird kind of smell, the porch outside has cracks on the ground, the lights in the living room were dim and the management reduce the number of cups, towers, blankets etc to each unit. aiyo complain!! hahaha...

Oh btw SIM had a fire drill at around half past 11 today and everyone has to evacuate the premises. I didn't know uni have fire drills sia haha. but hah aiyo made me rush for lunch when the drill was over lol.

hello guys! I will be 'away' at Downtown East for my annual family chalet retreat^^, going to have lots of fun there - wild wild wet, cycling, gaming & bowling! yea bowling rox! and nitetime will be non-stop mahjong going on!! hahaha i am soo gonna become like L soon xD

Not just fun but lots of eating to be going on haha... i can expect to put on about 2kgs for the duration of the chalet which lasts from this friday to next thursday... Long right? luckily my aunt is a ntuc member so got discount hehe xD. Anyways i will still be going to school for lessons except for monday which i crash this tuesday to make up haha... but huh travelling will be a chore~ now i get to experience what my eastern and northern friends always do when they go to school lol...

Is my sketching okay?

I am beginning to sketch anime/manga characters as a hobby during free time. Haha hope my skill can improve to my brother's level - he's pretty good at drawing =p

My brother is going to POP this coming wednesday so he is really excited this few days. I have a feeling he's going to get the same vocation as I am - recce lol.

Oh ya I wanna say about something that makes me kinda mad. Yesterday after I left my grandma's house at around 9:30pm, the corridor and the stairs were literally littered with consumed chicken drumlets and smoke buds. Some guys were sitting around the corrider, chatting and eating. I think they are from my grandma's neighbour next door and are guests at their house-warming. Wah so many pieces of rubbish... I have a feeling cockroaches and rats will soon infest the area if the rubbish remains there. I really can't stand it when these people anyhow litter the area cause they do not live there. Seriously if I have psychic powers, I would force them to pick the rubbish off the ground and stuff it in each others mouth!

It seems like a few months ago I was collecting hongbaos and it's December again lol. How time flies by so quickly~ Soon it will be Christmas again and another new year! wow 2010! A decade after the much-hype year 2000 hehe.

The world seems to change quite abit over the last 10 years. Sept 11, massive earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, global warming, terrorist bombings... all these were headlines all over the world. Before year 2000, the situation wasn't that bad, makes me wonder if the world will really come to an end in 2010?

But amid all these disasters, there are still some good things that appear... anime!! yea! Anime has really come a long way since the 1990's, it has really grown into a very big industry internationally. From the 1st anime that I watch which is Doremon, anime has evolved into a bright and colourful one with some scenes having 3D animation!

Haizz... somehow I am starting to feel my age catching up to me le, me not young anymore haha... After my last year at SIM I will have to find a stable job and work and work and work till old age, makes me wanna restart my childhood again lol. Oh why did the good games and anime didn't appear when I was younger?? *sad*

Oh for today's accounting class, Adrian is finally back from his holiday! Wa he missed quite alot of lessons so he will need some catching up to do. Dun worry, follow your favourite quote! ' Yes I can! ' oh and I met Agnes as I was exiting my accounting class, lol I can't believe she actually watched the whole 1st arc of Bleach... me also not that powerful sia!

I began today with a usual class with Mr Goh for his lecture on OTIA(Organisation Theory - An Inter-disciplinary Approach). omg I forgotten that I have an assignment to hand up today... o_o sorry Mr Goh I will definitely hand up next week! Richie and I were discussing Naruto and Bleach as usual xD lol *Spoilers* Kisame is dead! Sooo weak without his sword sia! Had Unagi don and Takoyaki(yeah!) for lunch.

After class and lunch, I decided to go to town to shop for a present for my friend's birthday. Met Eugene at the SIM bus-stop so me tag along the way as he went home by MRT to the East. I went to Plaza Singapura to check out the top floor shops for it as I know 4-5 stores selling the present I wanna buy. Aiya I check every store but they all say no stock liao and they are not in production le... wah....

Okay I am still not giving up yet, still got 1 more shop all the way at Kallang Leisure Park. hahaha that place pretty far away sia and me 1st time going there, abit lost! I reached Kallang MRT station and asked the staff how to get there. The lady at the counter said to go to the bus terminal some 200m away and take bus 11 which goes there. wah the waiting time is really long, almost 18 mins... Finally the bus came, hurray!

Riding the bus, I looked out and sight-see abit lol. The National Stadium looks pretty majestic from the outside and the Indoor Stadium looks stylish. After a 10mins ride, the bus reached Leisure Park. As I made my way in I can't help but notice the small number of people walking in the mall. Seriously this place is too out of place... maybe when the Stadium MRT station opens up in the future there will be more visitors.

I walked into the shop I wanna visit - La Tendo. Wow they have alot alot of stuff on sale, BUT wah I can't find the present I wanna buy! T_T haiz me damm sad... when I walked outside still dizzling somemore... I guess I will look for it somewhere else but for today I have to go home le it's getting late and my legs are killing me...

Hmm which anime/manga characters best describe me? There are a few hahaha...

Keitaro Urashima from Love Hina. Keitaro is a student wanting to get into Todai, the top university of Japan to fulfill a childhood promise to a forgotten friend. He's a typical nerd and hardly spoke to any girls in his whole life, kinda sad if you ask me. Bad in sports and poor in studies, he studies really hard to fulfill the dream of marrying that childhood friend by meeting her at Todai.

Hmm his overall looks are very similiar to me, and his "20 years without a girlfriend" kinda symbolises me lol... And I am pretty bad at studying coz my mom said I have to study twice as hard as others to score the same as them haha...

Daisuke Niwa from D.N.Angel. Daisuke is a student who loves a girl and was intending to confess his love to her on his birthday. Sadly she regarded him as only a friend and left him broken-hearted. When he went home and saw the potrait of the girl that he painted some time ago, his character and personality changes to Dark, a cool being with traits opposite of him.

My msn name comes from this anime coz I have alot of traits from him such as cheerfulness, shyness, kindness, helpfulness and loveless lol. You could say that my current love life is similiar to his =)

Negi Springfield from Negima. A 10-year old English mage whose role to teach an all-girls class is a requirement in his mage studies. He is an extremely gentlemantly and polite boy who takes care of his students and fights evil mages that threaten to harm his students. He's really cute lol!

I think his politeness is similiar to mine and we both enjoy drinking tea!^^

Uzumaki Naruto from Naruto. Hmm I don't need any explaination here right? lol

Well I tend to be cheeky like Naruto when I hang out with my buddies - I like to poke them, laugh alot, smile alot hahaha! oh and I admired his 'Never say Give Up' attitude.

Light Yagami aka Kira from Death Note. A genius who is studying law. Light realised the law is unable to protect its people and criminals can roam around scot-free. One day he received a book that can kill anyone whose name is written on it. Light then uses it in an attempt to create his perfect world - one with no criminals and evil.

Lol I like Light's initial approach to using the Death Note as he truly wants the good people to be protected from bad people. I kinda resembles Light in that I don't like the strong bullying the weak and I don't like injustice and unfairness. I wish that all murderers, rapists and terrorists should just die... they are taking away people's lives, dreams and hopes for the future...

Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. Osaka is not her real name, just a nick given by her friends - even I forgotten her real name le lol. She likes to daydream alot and loves to ask chim questions which her friends find it hard to answer. Osaka is kinda slow and she always gives that blur look on her face lol.

Ahh Osaka lol! I love to daydream just like her, and like her's my dreams are all really weird and fantasy theme de hahahaha!

Asuna Kagurazaka from Negima. She is one of the students under Negi's class. Asuna can run really fast, is a good drawer but sucks at her studies and was nicknamed 'Baka Red'. She always talks big but ends up not being able to back up her words. But she truly wants to help others when they are in need.

Hmm I think I am similiar in that I sometimes make empty promises, well this trait is something my younger brother said that I have. Eh I think sometimes I tend to promise alot in the beginning but ended up not fulfulling only part of it. I am trying to change this bad trait of mine since it really bothers me alot.

Today's ESAP(Elements of Social and Applied Psychology) lesson was a revision of part B of the syllabus. But oh man I realised there are really alot of things to remember! My friend next to me was going into hibernation mode as he cannot take in all the things the teacher said out during the lesson lol. I think ESAP has more things to take account of than Sociology which I studied last year... hahaha...

Oh ya my aunt came back from Hong Kong on monday so she visited my house yesterday. Yay "Laopo"biscults, love letter goodies and almond biscults from Hong Kong! Yummy! The "Laopo"biscults are good, love letters are nicely made and are crunchy lol. However the almond biscults need me to use alot of strength to even break it man... lol some tough cookie!

My brother just came home tonite, he's really feeling exhausted from his 16km roadmarch in Tekong. The weather today was extremely HOT! I can see why he's complaining the moment my mom opened the door.

Haa.... it's another day to go to school but I always feel less willing to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays... why? cos I have got no friends who are taking the same lessons in those days. Sadly those days are having the modules which I failed the previous year so I can't really complain about it, just have to blame myself for not studying hard enough...

Going into the lecture hall, I always choose a seat that is at the corner at the back so that if I happened to fall asleep it wouldn't be so obvious lol. Hmm going back to the topic, it seems that there are quite a number of loners in SIM who are studying by themselves, kinda makes me feel what a lonely and cold(air-con! =p) world we are in. Luckily my lecturer's teaching is pretty interesting so I didn't feel so bored and stuff. But yeah it would be better if a friend was sitting next to me so we could chat abit in between the lessons haha.

This makes me think back during my primary and secondary school days. I would dare say that my primary school life was really uninteresting and boring. I had few friends as I am an introvert then and I always talk without thinking. During primary 4 to 6, I got bullied often by a few boys sitting next to me as the teacher put me(quiet boy) in between the noisy ones to separate them from communicating. Well... that didn't work out too great as they turned their attention to me. Sometimes after I lent them my pencils to use, I would find them on the floor after school. Bullying involves name calling, tossing of my pencil case around, still have somemore but I think I have forgottened about them.

In secondary school, my life got abit better. I was able to make some good friends and have fun talking with them. However whenever I talked to a female classmate I would get all nervous and start to stammer. As a result I didn't have many female friends. I thought that maybe this was just a small problem and all but as time passes on and until my NS days, I found out that my friends have relationships with girls and a few of them have even married already! When I think about this, I realise I have got to take action soon, otherwise it would be too late when I get older.

So with that I try to find a girl I like in SIM after my NS days(my mom warned me not to get one b4 NS, she has a point there haha). When I joined a club last year I was pretty interested in a girl I saw there. She even lives very close to me, just a few blocks away! But sadly to say I realised I am not the one for her as I realised our interests and hobbies are too different and I found it awkward to try to talk to her.

Okay anyways now I have found a girl I really really really like! We shared many similar interests and I can really talk normally with her. I am not sure if she feels the same way as I do but at the moment it's a one-sided love. I kept thinking of her every now and then. I really want to be her boyfriend and I am afraid some other guy will take her away as she is really sweet and when she laughs, oh she's sooooo cute! She's like the ideal girlfriend that I have always dreamed of.

These are my true feelings and I think I could never find another girl like her in this world.

I was sooooooo late! omg I hurried to AFA09 as I was late to go in at the event opening timing of 10am. Why? cos I wanna buy the K-ON plushies which I missed buying yesterday! ........... sold out........ T_T

okie.... sad sad... at least I got their store namecard so next time can go to their main store and hopefully buy them. aiya now got so much time, what to do? Tour around again hahaha! I found an intesting store that was selling some fun gadgets like pop pop buttons and can-drink openers (I dun really know how to explained it lol) The gadgets were on display yesterday and were not on sale. Agnes looked pretty interested to buy them so I bought a pair - pink and blue^^.

Hey an event was starting. I went and took a look.... omg it's Kaname's cosplay talk! And and and he's wearing his uber cool Advent Children Cloud cosplay!! Sooooo coooool!! And his sword looked extremely well made - wah so shiny! Agnes and Darrell came halfway through the talk and I led them to a spot where we are pretty close to the guy lol. The cosplayer gave details about his dream of cosplay, the real life plus the way of cosplaying. I can see from his expressions that he really luv his hobby and takes pride in cosplaying a character as real as possible to the original.

After the talk we went to the Moe Moe Maid Cafe for lunch! LOL it's sooo Japan-like to have a maid cafe here. We went in and were greeted in Japanese "Masters" and "Lady" by the model-like gals in maid costume hahaha. All 3 of us ordered the same meal - Egg Omelette Rice^^ The maid servicing us drew on our meals with tomato or chili sauce lol. Me got heart-shaped eyes and mouth, Darrell got eyes and mouth and Agnes got..... zigzagzigzag tomato sauce lines all over the meal lol(the maid dun like females ah? LOL) I gave Agnes the pink pop pop button device and she was pretty surprised lol. Before leaving the cafe, we could have our photo taken by the staff there! yeah! We can collect it after around 30 mins so we went to the next event that was staring - the K-ON seiyuu appearance!

Ahhh we were abit too late as most of the good standing spots were occupied. Nevertheless we squeeze through the crowd and found a rather good viewing spot. Out they came out, 1, 2, 3, 4, .... what happened to MIO?!? wah seah Mio's seiyuu didn't came.... It was abit disappointing that the full cast dídn't came but oh well the show must go on. We were treated to some scenes where they dubbed the lines that were in the show. lol it was really entertaining. After that they had their Q&A session. Oh how I wished I understood how to speak Japanese... their speech had to be translated by the hosts and the hosts kinda cut short on some parts... well it was still great to see them talk haha.

We collected the maid cafe photo after the K-ON session and toured around abit more before exiting the hall and going a level down to take pics of cosplayers cosplaying there! Sooo many people taking pics sia! There are a few good copslyers there, esp a cosplayer with 4 large wings attached to his back lol.

Alright! I can't wait till next year's Anime Festival Asia!^^

Anime Festival Asia 2009! Day 1

Cosplay, figurines display, seiyuus, maid cafe, otakus lol, all these were sights at the Anime Festival Asia 2009 aka AFA09! I bought 2-days tickets to the event held last weekend at the Suntec City Convention Halls. I went with agnes on both days, with my cousin on sat and darrell on sun hehehe.

On Saturday, me and cousin went early to AFA at about 11am. Once we step in, I was awed by the sights and sounds that were in front of me. So many shops and booths selling items ranging from figurines to toy guns to hardware(i dun get why they are selling this here lol). I have been wanting to buy the K-ON plushies from one of the stores dedicted to selling them but huh... why did the queue have to be soooooo long!!! wahh siao the line like almost 80m + sia... I ask the staff of the store are there any plushies left and they replied by the time I queued up and it's my turn to buy they may already have been sold out... sad sia T_T Anyways I decided to go shop shop abit. OoOo I found a store selling posters and stuff and saw some really nice Shana posters on sale(Agnes luvvv this anime^^) So I bought 2 of 3 designs avaliable to let her choose which one she wants when I meet her later =)

Around 1pm an event was starting at the main stage area.... it's the Regional Cosplay Comepetition! wow! Me annd my cousin went to book seats at the area to get a gd view. omg all the cosplayers were really into their stuff! Their costume and props were great and some of them have lights somemore sia lol. The main judge of the event was Kaname, a pro cosplayer hailing from Japan. oh my he looked sooo cool in his outfit haha. The overall winner was Team 00 Revolution, and if some of you can guess from the name what's they cosplay, it was Gundam 00! I have only 1 word for the guy's cosplay - WoW!

Finally Agnes came! hahaha wah she was busy taking pics of the cosplayers outside sia. okie when I gave her the Shana poster her face really lightened up! hehehe I am glad she like the gift^^ We spent the rest of the afternoon touring around the whole place, it was really fun talking with Agnes as we have pretty alot of similiar interests(manga!anime!) After some time another event was starting! The Danny Choo Special Appearance! wow this guy ah is the ultimate otaku! And he's not those kind of perverted or dirty kind of otakus, he's really neat-looking and speaks great English. hahahaha I think the best part about him is that he luvs his hobby and does not mind what other say about him. oh and he is really funny in his Storm trooper dance =p

After the event, my cousin left early to go to my grandma's - he really can't stand the crowds then lol. Sooo me and Agnes went around touring the area again haha. We went to the same shop where I bought the poster earlier on. lol she saw that they are selling cushions and the covers have nice Shana designs on them. She bought 2 and gave me 1 ^^ - I also choose a Shana design lol. Around 4pm, we decided to call it a day and left the area and walked towards the City Hall MRT station to head towards our respective destinations. It's really nice to talk to Agnes as I didn't shutter like when talking to most other girls lol, somehow I find her easy to click with. Okie end of the 1st day, let's move on to the 2nd!

Going down the escalator, oh no is him again around the corner. okay I try to ignore. Shoot he called out my name, alright here comes the same stuff again...

Haizzzz I dunno why but how come this person keeps on getting on my nerves ah? I know my grades last year ain't great but don't have to keep rubbing on my wounds by saying how come I fail this & that, never study hard enough etc. Exam not enough still talk about IPPT... said I can go fail la because my pull-up cannot make it. I dunno why but he always like wanna make me look bad in front of others and demoralise me, I know some negative feed-back is good but almost everything he said is kinda negative.

His attitude somehow makes me feel that he is haughty and looks down on people whose abilities are inferior to him and mix around with stronger people. He tends to stuck up to people with more seniority and make them feel that he is a responsible and caring person. A guy with many masks I would say. And he kept saying I shouldn't be like this and that, but that's the way I am. If I change myself to a different 'self', won't I be myself anymore? Stop trying to change others to suit the way you want to look at them.

I haven't had lunch then but I was kinda full of 'Anger' so I alighted at my bus-stop instead of alighting at Clementi Town to have my lunch. argh I am still angry now, bleah.

A curse? Maybe.

My birthday party!

Yesterday on saturday, I celebrated my birthday at my aunt's condo's function room with some friends of mine and my relatives. lol it was more of a cohesion than a birthday party, old friends and buddies from national service days. The buffet consisted of food choosen by me(meaning very little veg =p)

Some of my friends cannot make it at the last minute so i have to ask those who came to eat doubly more, including myself - i ate like 3 plates lol... as for the remaining food my family try to da-pao most of them haha. the ktv room booked nxt to the function was really popular with the guys, for me i chose to chat with my other buddies outside - i am not much of a singer plus the music is really loud lol.

The cake is pretty large - 3kg in size! this one really need to dapao home as we ate only 3/4 of the cake hahaha!

My views

If you want to know the life behind a mangaka, Bakuman will give alot of info about it. From the deadlines they must meet, to the editors who they report to and to the format of how to write a proper proposal, the manga has everything here. This is actually the 1st time I ever read a manga about a mangaka's life behind the scenes. Sure some scerarios may be abit exaggerated but some are pretty much what happen in everyday life. The comedy in this manga is mainly from the crashes between rival mangakas and the lame and funny plots in some of the mangaka's stories. Romance isn't really alot, there are offically only 2 couples in the story and one of the couples don't really communicate much with each other due to a pact they made. Bakuman doesn't have much of an impact to it but I find it really interesting as I get to know the creation of mangas better. Seriously a mangaka's life is extremely tough and he/she can only cope with the stressful life if they have the passion for it, otherwise the drawings they make will be dull and boring.

Today's another boring day, woke up early attend econs lesson in that cold cold lecture hall. After lessons, i decided to pamper myself with some KFC food in clementi :p when i boarded bus service 184, someone knocked into me. wa is royston sia lol. chatted with him until the bus reached clementi central where he alighted. me alighted the stop after that.

yay KFC KFC~ me ordered a 2 piece chicken meal - 1 crispy 1 original, colesaw changed to small packet of fries, 1 whipped potato, 1 coke and 1 coconut pie^^ yumyum!!

anyways there will be more yummies this comin saturday! teehee~~

Teehee~I am finally back lol. Sorry for the very very late post on my blog, was gaming Dragonica all this time and I have to have the right mood to write. Okie time to bake some posts :p

Finally school has started for me, woot! 2nd year 2nd year hehe! Okie no more slacking around le like last year. From today onwards I will revise at least 2hrs before I sleep for the day and I will reduce my gaming level till the next holidays lol. Yay onward and upward!^^

Today's class is psychology o_o sounds chim but is more or less related to sociology. Well at least the teacher for today's class is much much better - she's from UK I think and she makes the lesson so interesting xD. I have set almost all my lessons to morning classes so I can have more time in the afternoon for revision and other stuff. Sleep early wake up early!

Argh my weight is now 69.4kg.... dang it all those running in the mornings still like that.... I will try to book IPPT again next month, if fail again then that's it RT liao T_T

My Taiwan trip - Day 1

Hahaha sorry guys for not blogging for so long, was busy playing Dragonica all this while XD. Anyways today I will write about my trip to Taiwan! Yeah finally I can enjoy freely without any army-related issues.

I woke up pretty early in the morning, around 4am in the morning. The flight is 7am and the plane will depart from terminal 3. Wow my dad booked a maxi-cab for the journey, cool! The airline I will be travelling is SQ, 1st time seating SQ sia. My grandma will be joining us along for the trip so we are 5 persons in all. Had some light breakfast at terminal 3 - soft-boiled eggs and kaya toast.

When boarding the airplane, I can't help but feel nervous. I think I watched too many aircrash investigations on Discovery channel.... When approaching the runway, the pilot speaked on the loudspeakers, "We are having some engine problems with one of our engines. We will now restart it. There will be some slight delay. Thank you." My heart almost skipped a beat. So suay got engine problem! About 15 mins later, the plane's engines start up again. Wah taking off is pretty scary! I was seating at the window seat and can see how high we are ascending. Then I saw something flowing from the wing, at first I thought it was oil leaking out, but after a closer look it was only the wind flow. Hahaha.... scare me.... Then shortly after takeoff, the pilot said there is a thuderstorm in Taipei. I looked at my brother who gave that same look I was having o_o

When breakfast was served, my brother hardly touched his food lol. For me I enjoyed it very much XD. It was great - butter bread, fried rice and Haaden-Daez(I dun know how to spell it correctly) ice-cream! Yum Yum!! When it comes to good food I am all smiles ^^ After about 4plus hours in the air, the plane began to descend. Wah I saw alot of dark clouds below.... When we are descending, the plane shook quite abit, me pretty scared by now. Yay touchdown! The landing was smoother than I expected. Upon arriving at the airport, we have to pass through thermal scanners. "You, come over here" Eh? Some airport staff directed me to another area to take a second reading. Wah their thermal scanners need some zeroing sia, my whole family kanna directed over there. After a few short minutes, we were allowed to leave.

We and another family from the same tour group(SA Tours) met with the tour guide, a middle-age bespectacled woman. There are about 15 others in the same tour group but they will be arriving later via China airlines. Since we have about 3 hours to spare, the tour guide gave us a quick tour around and a train trip. We boarded the small tour bus and rided to a train station. The tour guide gave us some geographic info on Taiwan and briefed us that she is not the main tour guide. The main tour guide will be meeting us together with the other 15 people on the other flight.

The train station is really long! The train was really neat, and fast! Wah I can see the building whizzed past me... The top speed of the train is about 220km/h and I don't think it's travelling that fast yet lol. After the train trip, we were joined with the other families of the tour group. The main tour guide is a guy in his 40s and he somehow resembles Lee Hsien Long! Hahaha!

The first destination of the trip is to some presidental garden. I do not quite understand the history of the garden. It was quite boring if you are unfamiliar with China/Taiwan history. After that we headed over to Shilin Night Market. Yeah the place reminds me so much of my Taiwan trip 2 years ago. It is still as crowded as ever with alot of roadside game stores. I found my anime figurine shop amongst the many other stores, yeah! It's still here! Hahaha bought some figurines from Gundam 00, Clannad and Xenosaga. We had dinner at an air-conditioned shop - more comfortable for my grandma. The food is pretty good except for the fish - some sour fish dish(argh not up to my liking).

After about 3hours at the night market, we checked into our 1st hotel for the trip. OMG what a BIG ROOM! It's a suite no matter how you look at it! A living room, a dining room, a big toilet with separate bath and shower areas and a masterbed room with 2 king-size bed. It's really really neat! I spent the night watching anime and variety shows from the many channels available - 90+ channels sia! Oh and I found one variety show that I liked - Mahjong! Omg the host is Nai Ge and everyday the show features stars and ordinary folk battling out in Mahjong! Wah why can't they have something like this in Singapore?

Back from Taiwan

Hello! I am back from my family trip to Taiwan. It has been a really tiring trip around the whole island - went from North to West to South to East and to North again. I made a few friends during the trip, other youths from the tour guide trip lol. I will write in detail about my trip sometime tommorrow or the day after, but for now I need to rest a little and catch up on my manga and anime XD. By the way I bought a lot of figurines back home, got KOS-MOS ver 4 from Xenosaga III(her coloring is really neat), Yami-chan from To-Love Ru(her fighting pose is cool!), some Gundam 00 characters, Clannad's female cast(for my cousin lol), Cloud and Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts 2(wow damm cool!), Tamaki from Bamboo Blade(the design is very detailed, just like from the anime) and Yuki from Suzumiya Haruhi(finally got her witch robe form!!)

In less than 12 hours from now, I will be taking a flight to Taipei for vacation! Sweet! Gonna buy alot of stuff there hehehe...

Lots of fun after the exams!

Ever since my last blog post, I have been busy hanging out with old friends from my secondary school, poly and army days. Wow I am really tired now, I tend to sleep quite late(as far as 1pm lol). Well let me recap what I did these past 3 weeks haha.

Final Fantasy Distant Worlds
Immediately after the exams I attended the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds Orchesha held at the 'Durian'. I went with my brother in the afternoon which is the 2nd show after the previous night. I was lucky to buy the tickets from my SIM friend Adrian as the tickets sold off fast and the afternoon slot on Saturday was created after the organisers found the response 'overwhelming'. Before we entered the hall, there was a queue to buy music CDs, T-shirts and picture books from Final Fantasy. Luckily I bought enough cash to buy 2 CDs and a picture book(I will be giving 1 CD for Adrian as a gift^^). After that we entered the hall and were ushered to our seats. Our seats were pretty good, we were seated at the side of the hall but were quite in front so we got a good view of the stage. As people started coming in I spotted, guess who? ---- CLOUD!! wow his hair damm stylo milo hahaha. And he wore his trademark clothes from Advent Children somemore. Cool cool! Only letdown was his partner who was cosplaying as Tifa... sad to say not up to standard... Anyways Nobuo-san came in and sat with the audience! Wow the legendary creator of Final Fantasy music in the flesh! He wore a white shirt, white jacket, white pants, hahaha it feels like he is like a sage or something, he got wear a bandana somemore lol. The first music they played was the opening song for FF8 - Liberli something. It was really outstanding.

Passion run
The next day was the Passion run held at East Coast park early in the morning. My dad fetched Casper and I to the park and omg, the roads there are jammed-pack with vehicles! It's quite a congestion but we still managed to get in. We waited quite a while for the others to get here - Darrell, Jian Hui, Alvin, Derek and Royston. We also met Sgt Hydro at the event! When we started to run, the sun was already baking us, sooo hot... I kept drinking alot of free 100plus along the way ;p About 4km through the run(which is 10km), Alvin got some tummy ache so he stopped at a nearby toilet. I am the safety officer(self-acclaimed^^) so I waited outside for him while the rest continued on. After 15 minutes he came out and we continued running, but only for a few minutes lol. Cannot lah no momentum, plus the guys already so far ahead. So we just took our time walking and talking until we met the other guys on the other side of the running route. Hehe no choice we both 'stealthily' cut into the route coz a few of the guys' belongings were with me at the lockers. Got a pretty cool red sling bag for completing the run^^ After the run we went to a Marine Parade hawker centre for some yummy lunch! Yeah spicy wanton mee and a cool lime juice for me ;)

Singapore Book Fair
The following Friday, I went and paid a visit to my secondary school friend Alvin at his stall in the Singapore Book Fair held at Suntec City. I helped him out that day and the coming Monday. He was selling a very popular eraser in Indonesia called Boxy - the eraser is manufactered by Mitsubishi in Japan. Also on sale are socks. The attraction of the store are kites made by his friend's mother, a pro kite flyer. The kites are really pretty! I helped Alvin out with some advertising and flyer giving ;)

K-Box Lunch Karaoke
Last wednesday, some of my army friends and me went to K-Box at Cinneleisure for some lunch and karaoke lol. The food was okay, not really into octopus so I gave my share to Derek ;p The songs they sung some of them I didnt really hear before (I wasnt a really big fan of Madarian songs anyway). I myself picked a few English and Mandarian songs like 'When you say nothing at all' and 'Honey Honey'(wah that one cannot make it lol). I think I better stick to English songs in the future ^_^" Oh ya I also accidentally bump a glass off the table. Some of it stained Derek's thousers (sorrrrrriiiii!!). Aiyaya 1st time I break something outside my house. I feel so guilty when the staff came in to clean the mess up, luckily for me I didnt have to pay for the broken glass. The session ended with 2 songs of high volume which forced the non-singing people to 'take cover' lol. It was a blast!

Mahjong session
The following Friday was a meeting with poly friends for some mahjong action^^ We played a board game called 'Power Grid' before commencing the mahjong session. Lol with some luck I emerged the winner of the game hehe(we decided to stop halfway, it was too long). Throughout the whole mahjong session, my luck seemed to be overflowing, to the point where I can score a same suit win^^ The session ended with me winning Jiaqi and finishing off mew-mew and Kevin lol. Hahaha I guess Kevin's thrash-talking and Jiaqi's 'feeding' helped me abit ;p Anyways I treated them Macdonalds dinner as I won them abit too much - I don't like losing but I also don't like winning too much from friends.

I am back from the exams!

After more than a month long from my bloggy, I am finally back to bake a post lol.

Alright my exams this time ain't that great, I also confirm failing one(econs drats!). Dang it that's my weakest module. Sooo I will most likely be taking the same module again next semester. But scratch that it's the holidays now! Time to take a break!

After the exams I have quite a few events for me!
First up is the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds orchestra at the "Durian" on Saturday. Thanks to my pal Adrian from SIM for selling me the tickets as he has a family trip that day. Thanks Adrian!! These tickets sold out the same day they are on sale so it's really lucky for me.^^

Second is a group run on Sunday at East Coast park. It's something like a gathering of old army pals so I am looking forward to it(of course not the run, I can't run much these days haha).

Third is a planned family trip but it's not confirmed yet so I don't have much details(hopefully the flu thingy dies down by then).

Anyways I am now in holiday mood for at least 2 months before the start of the next semester. Look forward to my pizzas and manga reviews that are coming your way!

Cramming for exams!

I have not posted here for awhile - must have mood to write something lol.

It's the month of April already and my exams are just a month away! I really really wanna do well for the exams as such I will be cramming for my modules this whole month xD. I have kinda settled my games for now and the fall animes for last year have all ended(Gundam 00's ending was kinda weird as I seem to spot a few dead characters still alive... Soul Eater was good, though I expected somemore to defeat Kishin other than a punch to the face lol, Skip Beat ended without solving Ren's problem... omg just watch the manga, it's the same haha). The spring animes doesn't seem to interest me much(which is good so I won't get distracted).

Last week, Darrell ask me to join Gaiaonline and chat with fellow Singaporeans on the forums. Maybe I am a newbie to it so I find it hard to start a conversation. Anyways most of the members in the Singaporean guild seem to like anime(got cosplay somemore). Maybe if I talk a few more times will be able to click lol.

I started running last month as I want to lose weight and gain stamina for my IPPT this year. So me and my brother ran 3 times a week - Monday and Friday along the canal, Wednesday at Singapore Poly stadium. At first I tire out really easily, out of breath after less than 2 km. Now it's much better, at least I feel healthier hehe^^.

And oh yea, my parents are planning a family trip to Taiwan this comin May(yeah!!). This made me all the more want to do my exams well and enjoy the trip afterwards!

In the middle of my prelims

Well the prelims started last Friday and 3 papers have passed with 2 remaining. Frankly speaking I didn't study that much for the previous papers... guess I didn't treat the prelims so seriously. Anyways I will buck up more for the upcoming Introduction to Business Management(IBM) as I do not want to waste my lecturer's good teaching over the past months.

Oh ya I almost forgot - The managing of exam classrooms for prelims SUCK!! It was chaotic on the 1st day of prelims! The students didn't know where to go and were ushered here and there when the classroom they wanted to entered was full. In the end, I started my exam 15mins after the expected time of 10am when I finally found a classroom that is vacant. The SIM staff should have given us details of where we are seating weeks before the prelims. Instead they choose this 'First come First serve' method and resulted in alot of confusion and time-wasting. This should never happen in an exam.

The past week is filled with thunderstorms lately, with one even striking the merlion! This feels like a bad omen to Singapore's future... I read in the news forums that a reader suggested not fixing the merlion and instead build a fence around the merlion area! He suggested that the merlion getting striked by lightning is a rare happening and that it must be preserved. Moreover he suggested a fee for tourists to visit the merlion area! What a money-minded guy!

Another incident that rocked the island is the slashing of a NTU lecturer and the sucide of the student who attacked him. From what I heard the reason why he did it is because of his obession with games and that resulted in his poor grades which in turn leads him wanting to sucide. Haiz... I can't understand how sucide is gong to solve everything... Instead it leads to more tears and pain for his loved ones and friends. Anyways I guess one must not be too obsessed with games, especially the one who sucided played - World of Warcraft. I heard that game is highly addictive and once you start playing you can't stop in a while. I myself am also addicted to games, well not computer games but Mahjong! Hahaha I love playing Mahjong so much that even my PSP has a Mahjong game!

Oh ya and today's Darrell Tan's birthday hehe. He must be with his girlfriend or something like that. Lucky guy =) I got to shop for something over the weekend for his present. Darrell wanted an exercise mat for sit-ups and such so yeah maybe I can get something like that for a gift >_<

Woot now my blog have some music on hehehe. Darrell told me bout his blog's music ninja so I went and check it out. Wow the website allows you to create a music playlist with songs you can search on its website. The website searches songs from youtube etc so you can gurantee find any song you want. Yay! Now my blog have anime music hehe. Ya the 10 songs from the playlist are from 10 different animes and I picked them coz they are my favourites. Enjoy!

My views

One of the best romance mangas I have seen so far. This manga tells of how love can continue after 1000 years into the future when two lovers vow to be reborn to be lovers again. The switching from the past to present to and fro is abit confusing. One moment the main character is Hikaru Genji, the moment he is Hazuki-kun, Hikara's reincarnation. In all this manga tells how 2 lovers who cannot be together in the past vow to try again in the future. If you like history and romance, this is one manga that you should not miss.

Valentines Day is here again...

February the 14th, it's that time of the year where boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives proclaim their love for each other. Well yeah for my past 22 years, I am still single haha... seems like I and some of my friends can form a 'singles club' soon if we get older... I am kinda jealous when my friends have dates and such especially on Feb 14th, but well they earned it cause they made the effort to get their dates. As for me haha... guess it's all up to fate... well not exactly all about fate, but I have to meet someone who I feel is 'the one' for me before me making a move. Maybe I am just thinking too much about a girl's thoughts and reactions, what will happen if I tell her I like her? Will I give her problems in her daily life? Am I able to give her happiness? Do I know her well enough? Are our worlds totally different? When I think about those questions, I feel that I am not quite ready yet. I guess I have not quite reach that level when I can handle a relationship.

But if I ever know a girl whose personality matches mine and has similar hobbies to mine, I will go all out for it. Maybe :)

Anyways I wish all the lovers out there a Happy Valentines Day! May all of them find happiness in their partners till the end of time. As for me, next year maybe :p

A different Chinese New Year week

I haven't been writing for sometime coz something happened in my family, but at least now have some time to update :)

Jan 24th, Saturday

It was just a normal Saturday evening, spending time with my relatives at my grandma's house in Commonwealth. I was playing mahjiong then with my younger relatives when I heard vomiting from outside our room which was closed. I didn't thought much coz I assumed it's the TV making the noise. After ten minutes, I heard again. "A TV scene couldn't have vomiting for 10 mins?" I thought. I opened the door and saw my grandma sitting at the sofa, looking rather pale. My mum just walked past me into the toilet, carrying a bucket with vomit inside. Oh my goodness this does not look good... My dad shouldered her into her room where she started breathing heavily. Her legs and hands went numb and she cried of pain in her abdomen. The adults decided to call an ambulance as we couldn't bring her to my dad's car which was parked some distance away. An ambulance would be the best choice. However we waited for almost an half an hour till the paramedics came. The ambulance was dispatched from Bishan!! Bishan !!! What the h*ll. One of my aunts went with the ambulance which transported her to Alexandia Hospital. My brother and I then went home ourselves while our parents and the adult relatives went to the hospital in my dad's car. I really pray nothing bad happens.

Jan 25th, Sunday

When I woke up, I ask my dad who came home in the morning at 2am about my grandma's condition. He said that my grandma's big intestine was semi-choked and that caused her to vomit and feel pain. My grandma's currently in a stable condition and resting in a ward. My parents called all my dad's side relatives not to visit my home as my grandma may not be able to leave the hospital by Monday. The thinking of that made me kinda sad... An quiet 1st day of Chinese New Year... It doesn't quite fit the occasion...

Jan 26th, Monday

My parents, my brother and me went to the hospital to visit her and hear her doctor's instructions. This is the 1st time I visited Alexandia Hospital, feels pretty closed to nature with all the trees and all. The 1st floor is non-air-conditioned so it has this airy feel to it. My grandma is staying at the 3rd storey at a class B ward. When I saw her she brightened up and waved at me. Soon the doctors came and spoke with her and asked her about her condition and how she's feeling. Then the doctor told my grandma that because it's Chinese New Year's, so there is no timeslot for a scanning. The head doc asked my grandma whether she wanted to go home for the new year and come back to the hospital for a review later in the week. Of course she replied yes and my parents told the docs that we will be caring for her the next few weeks. Sweet! She can come out! Sooooo my parents quickly inform my close relatives who will inform my not-so-close relatives who will inform my not-so-so close relatives that they can visit my house coz my grandma will be there like the previous chinese new years. lol After doing some paperwork, my grandma went to her house to take some belongings before arriving at my house. Lol my mum was busy filling new notes into hongbaos coz she didn't expect many guests to arrive since they were told not to come visit on Sunday. The 1st day ended well with many relatives visiting, talking with my grandma about her incident, munching tibits(milk chocalate mini-bars ftw!) and playing computer games.

Jan 27th, Tuesday

Today it's my family's turn to visit my mum's side of the family and some of her friends. My grandma went back home where my uncle is there to look after her for the day. One of my mum's friends' home is decorated really really festively with so many crystals and jade and hongbaos and banners and cow stickers. It was really neat! The house can confirm plus chop win the best decorated house award if there ever was one. The day ended at one of my uncle's house in Jurong. After having dinner, my brother, one of my close cousin and I went to my another cousin's room to play his ps3. Wow he has the entire Guitar Hero set - Drums, guitar plus mike. My cousin choose 1st and she picked drums, my brother picked guitar and I had to settle for mike... which is singing... dang! Well my singing was not very good and I have to try to sing d*mm high pitch for one of Michael Jackson's songs - Beat it! Hahahaha it was hilarous ^^ After we left the place, we fetched my grandma back to our house to look after her.

Jan 29th, Thursday

My brother passed his NAFRA test in poly, which means he goes in NS later a month and out a month earlier. Guess he deserved it after a few months of gym and running in SP. You can say he's fitter than me haha. Bought some donuts at Muchie Donut in Clementi to congratuate him. Wah so nice of me lor!

Jan 30th, Friday

My dad took my grandma to the hospital to have a screening of her intestines. The day before she followed the doctor's instructions and refrained from eating for the past 12 hours. While she undergo screening, me and my dad waited for 3 hours at the ward lobby. Luckliy I brought my psp along and luckily the seatings are sofas! So I just sat there and game away. At 12+, my grandma came out but couldn't leave yet as her blood pressure is low. So she was given some milo and was asked to sit on a sofa for awhile for her blood pressure to rise to normal. When we arrived back home, my dad showed me the pics of my grandma's intestine. It wasn't as gruesome as I thought, maybe I watched too much Discovery Channel or National Geographic =p

Jan 31st, Saturday

Today my close relatives came over instead of the usual place at my grandma's. My dad bought 2 sets of 'Yusheng' to toss and eat for good luck. Well I am not a lover for this kind of food(too much veg) so I just toss for fun. My wish for the new year is to get good marks for my exams^^. Can't wish for too much otherwise the wishing power will be divided into the diferent wishes(My hynopsis hehe)

The week started bad but ended well, and for that I am thankful. Cheers to the New Year of Ox^^

Last mgm of uol src 08/09 (Jan 20, Tue)

Welllll...... games committee(the group i am in) have only 2 ppl attended the mgm(me and eugene)... guess our committee dun like to come for meetings lol. Darrell was there too(with his blood donation group). The mgm(monthly general meeting) started off with aar's(after action review) of various events. And i was like omg... the presenter for the bash&paegent was like an army officer or spec talking(loud & speaking with a hokkien ascent... if i really close my eyes and listen i would have thought i was back in the army listening to a lecture... the mgm also intro the new excos to the people who attended it. somehow i feel the outgoing and incoming excos have a different sort of atmosphere to them... outgoing excos seem more friendlier and humourous, maybe it's becos we do not know the incoming excos yet... but judging from their faces, some of the incoming excos seem abit cold.

Okie after the mgm, me and eugene went to sumo house in clementi to have our dinner. Darrell came along later as he sat the wrong bus... wah i told u liao bus 154, 184 and 52... guess u really are tired. It was 8:15 when we reached there, luckily the store takes last orders b4 8:30. sooo i ordered one raw salmon with rice set & one chicken and egg rice set for myself, eugene and darrell had fried rice with teriyaki chicken and we all shared 1 plate of teriyaki chicken and 1 plate of fried salmon(free-of-charge :p). swee swee!! me eat until damm full... hungry can't help it so order 2 sets.... hahaha.... i feel heavier every week.... this is bad.... esp for my ippt....

Anyways after dinner we went our separate ways after parting at clementi mrt station. Reached home liao felt bored so read manga until now... so late of me posting on my blog ^^ okie tmr(or todae) is the last lesson for sociology. Gotta buck up for this subject.... it's all chimilogy!!

The games carnival committee dinner hosted by eugene at his simei house only have 5 ppl who attended it - him, me, kai yuen, janet and veron. Kinda lacks that big group feeling but what the heck, i am damm hungry, let's just cook some food lol. After walking like 15mins to eugene's house(kept asking where his house is), we finally reached it. woah 1st time i see a condo has 2 doors at different floors... rich guy rich guy =p anyways we went up to his penthouse at his building's roof(11th floor), woooww the view is really great! coz there is a limit to how high building can be in changi, his penthouse can sure see a great part of the east side. Can even see planes take off and land down somemore lor!

okay okay food time!! steamboat's the dinner type so we pour a whole variety of food inside - jap mushies(yum!), crabsticks, fishballs, hotdogs, leaf veggies(bleh! lol...), meat balls, fish slices, chicken meat, corn & prawns(swee!). so put in cook cook cook then eat served with rice^^. While we waited for the food to get cooked, the wind kept trying to blow our plastic cups and plates away. Damm windy day sia, luckily blew all the dark clouds away from our position hehe. Darkness falls quickly as we chow down dinner, kept eating and talking bout our past, studies etc(actually most of what we talk is NS... quite lame la but really can talk up a storm about it lol). Eugene's tank days in the army is just plain funny!! then we talk about some ghost happenings in our bmt, kinda creepy...Veron ate some mouthfuls then full le, i kinda expected it lol. then one by one they all call full except me. i kept eating and eating then i see some rice left and i dun wanna waste it so just ate them all up. wah then everyone say i super-eater sia! aiya i hungry wad lol. They should see derek teh in action, sure shock them de =p

After the very late dinner, we took some photos with eugene's no disk space camera hahaha. not bad sia his penthouse got a wooden swing set, great for pics(and some dating lol, he can really rent out the penthouse for couples, it's a real neat place^^). After that we tidied the place and the cooking accessories. By then it's like 11:15 le... lol. we walked back to the mrt station only to see the last train leaving for west went off... bleah... no choice lor so me and janet share cab(the others all live in east so np).

Jan 17th, Saturday

My family had reunion dinner at my house so i expected lots of great food to eat^^. The younger generation played games with my cousin's Wii. Wii gamestation has the best family-oriented games as all 4 players can play in them. Mario tennis, Wii sports baseball, Super Smash Bros Brawl are just a few of the many games my cousin bought. Then in the evening we had dinner which consisted of roasted duck(luv the skin ^^), abalone(woot!), eggs, char siew, fishball, big oyster sauce prawns(one of my all time favourites), oily chicken and some other more dishes(soup was lotus root, tasty!). After dinner the older kids played mahjong(including me). We played with no stakes(healthy gameplay) and a win needed to have 3 fan so that makes it harder to win.

Summary

How will Kagetora help Yuki with her training while trying to surpress his feelings?

My views

This is a great manga that shows how ninjas used to work in the past. The manga gives a lot of infomation on Japanese culture and language. The relationship between Kagetora and Yuki is the main plot of the manga and the author did well to explain the background of the main characters. The couple have a cute relationship with each other; Both love each other but both did not know about his/her feelings. The ninja fighting scenes are pretty funny and some are too overpower lol. But the manga does show some real ninja skills and combat moves that are used in the past and still used today.

It's like a freezer in the lecture room for my business management module. I already had a cold before going to school... omg my cold was made worse lol. After my 1st lesson, had a quick lunch at 3.15, then I went to the next lecture. What the h*ll... the same room somemore... another 3 hrs in the freezer again... sick... either the air-con is too cold or I am sick...

Anyways I may start manga & anime reviews sometime soon, helps me pass the time hehe.
